All Business Women Celebration of Women's History Month
Similar to African American Business Women of Vision (AABWV) Dee Sanford realized that other business women tended to network with women who are most like them, culturally and financially. This can be a very limiting experience. All Business Women, Inc. brings women of different ethnic groups and industries together for the specific purpose of learning more about one another, doing business together, building friendships, and expanding our networks. The All Business Women's Celebration of Women's History Month does just that! In March, AABWV sponsors the All Business Women's Celebration of Women's History Month. This premier multicultural event crosses the usual cultural and organizational barriers to create a unique networking opportunity for everyone. Nearly 200 businesswomen and men participated in our March 2002 event, including representatives from 14 San Diego networking organizations, and 27 vendors. Head table and audience participants have included women from the National Association of Women Business Owners; North County Latinas; MANA; African American Business Women of Vision; North County African American Women; Pacific Islanders, Professional Women's Fellowship, San Diego Women, Inc., the Philipino Chamber of Commerce, and many local networking groups and businesses.
