"Seven Words that Start With "F" That Characterize Trailblazers"What does it take to become a trailblazer? To go where no one has ever gone? To attempt what others thought was impossible? What are the characteristics of those who see what needs to be changed or improved, and then do it? "Seven Words That Start With 'F' That Characterize Trailblazers" identifies the circumstances under which both history makers and star performers decide to do something outstanding. It reveals the primary causes that challenged them to use their personal creativity to discover more effective solutions, to change the way things are done, to make life easier for everyone, or to challenge cultural norms that limit certain groups of people. The audience will be inspired to (1) examine "the way we have always done it" in their work and personal life, (2) experience their own frustration, (3) explore their own creativity, and (4) take the opportunity to introduce and implement new, more effective ideas, processes and procedures. Each person has the opportunity and the capability to spearhead improvements of their own, both professionally and personally. "Seven Words" is a result of Dee Sanford's search for the common catalysts that inspired trailblazers to challenge and change "the way it had always been" and "the way we've always done it" it into something greater and more inclusive. She found that all trailblazers felt "frustrated" with the status quo. They envisioned improvements through "futuristic thinking." They maintained their "focus," and "fearlessly" moved forward. They were always "fruitful," often producing more change and improvement than anticipated, and remained "faithful" to their cause. Above all, their confidence and belief in their work convinced them they could "fly." We can each use these "Seven Words" to facilitate personal and professional growth, change, and improvements in our own lives.
